Over the course of the past 8 years, I have experienced a number of digestive issues. I have been to numerous gastroenterologist, all of which quickly dismissed me as having Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Multiple medications were tried without any relief. I was miserable and desperate when I met Dr. Demetriou, I had no quality of life. Spent my whole life suffering from diarrhea. I have been to 5 gastroenterologist and they all told me I have IBS. I spent about 45 minutes with Dr. Chris and he gave me more informative than all the other doctors put together. Dr. Chris found the cause of my diarrhea which was a bile related issue. He started me on a medication and I am 100% better. This is coming from a person who for over 10 years was scared to leave my house because of diarrhea issues. He is the best.

After reviewing his impressive ratings and comments on Healthgrades I decided to contact Dr. Chris. I am 22 years old and for the last 3 to 4 years I was suffering from upper belly pain. I have been to 2 stomach doctors and a surgeon. I thought I was having a gallbladder problem but they all told me the tests were normal and they didn't think so. Dr. Chris reviewed all my tests with me and confirmed that things were normal, but he asked me one question that no other doctor asked me which was after the HIDA scan that I did to see how my gallbladder was working "did I have pain similar to what I was complaining about" and I told him absolutely. The pain was exactly the same. He did research with me and we found a reputable surgeon in the area for a second opinion and they too agreed that this could be my gallbladder. Fast Forward, the gallbladder is gone and so is my pain. Dr. Chris takes the time and he gave me my life back.

Dr. Chris is a very detailed physician. He spent a lot of time with me reviewing different possibilities for my issues and creating a plan to help me with my digestive issues. I highly recommend him.
